fuwapicaって何？

fuwapicaは座ったり触たりすることで光や色が変化するファニチャーです。「座る」「触る」という日常的な動作が、癒しや感動を生み出すきっかけになればと思い、fuwapicaを制作しました。柔らかいものへの愛着は人が持つ普遍的な感覚かもしれません。触ることでその表情が変化し、人の気持ちに応えてくれることでさらに愛着が増すことでしょう。

What's FUWAPICA?

名前の由来は？

「ふわふわ」という柔らかさを表現する擬音語と「ぴかぴか」という光っている様子を表現する擬音語を融合させ「ふわぴか」と名付けました。柔らかく、光っている様子を名前からも感じてほしいとの思いを込めました。

What the name means?

We call "FUWAPICA" the word mixture of japanese onomatopoeic that expresses softness "FUWA-FUWA(as "Soft" in japanese)" and, that expresses shining appearance "PICA-PICA(as "Flashily" in japanese)".

どうして色や光が変わるの？

fuwapicaの各バルーンは空気圧センサとつながっていますので、座ったり触ったりしてバルーン内の空気圧が変化するとそれに反応して色や光が変化するのです。強く触ると強く光り、弱く触れば弱く光る。fuwapicaは関わり方により様々な表情を見せてくれます。

Why change the color and light?

Each balloon of FUWAPICA is connected with the air pressure sensor. The color and light change reacting on it when the air pressure in the balloon changes by sitting and touching. FUWAPICA shows various expressions by how the human relations.
